Other local counties have had history festivals. But not Herefordshire, even though it certainly has impressive histories. A group of us think Herefordshire deserves its own Histories Festival.

The County’s h-Art programme has brought great benefit to the county. So let’s see what a celebration of our own history can bring. This is year one, just the start. And we are so enthusiastic to share the occasion with you.

Events are being organised by individuals and groups across the County, for the benefit of the whole community. It will be measured by community engagement, both by the organisers and the visitors.
