Herefordshire Family History Society will be hosting a history day at the HARC in Rotherwas where we will welcoming other history organisations to come along and display what they have to offer. Moccas Church PCC, in collaboration with the Woolhope Club, is putting on an afternoon of illustrated talks and organ demo : David Whitehead on the history of Moccas Church and its newly restored organ and waterpump, Francis Chester-Master on the Moccas stained glass, Anthea Chester-Master on the Knox family during WW1, and Lyndon Eatough Smith will demonstrate the organ and waterpump, and play Elgar and the Dambusters hymn in celebration of VE day .

Saturday 10 May 2025 10.00 – 4.00pm, Mordiford Water Mill. Mordiford Water Mill. A tall stone corn mill on a steep site. The large overshot waterwheel drove iron machinery & 2 pairs of stones.
HEREFORDSHIRE HISTORY DAY AT HARC
10 May 2025, HARC, Rotherwas Herefordshire History Day at HARC. Herefordshire Family History Society will be hosting a history day at the HARC in Rotherwas where we will welcoming other history organisations to come along and display what they have to offer. Societies who have agreed to exhibit at the moment are: Bartonsham History Group, Bromyard Local History Society, Caring for God’s Acre, Hereford Community Farm, Dinedor Heritage Group, Rotherwas Together and the Woolhope Club
