Beautiful, Grade 2 listed market hall, built in 1633 by ‘Kings Carpenter’ John Abel and lavishly decorated with fine carvings. It originally stood in the centre of Leominster as part of a busy market and was rebuilt on the Grange in 1859 as a private house. It is now an historic, community and enterprise hub with many interesting features, lovely walled gardens and a flourishing cafe.
Open 10 – 4 Monday to Saturday, free to visit and explore all year round. We are offering guided tours on Fridays and Saturdays during the Herefordshire Histories Festival: 11am on 15th and 22nd; 2pm on 9th, 16th and 23rd May.
