Welsh Chamber Orchestra Concert: Forgotten Women

Wales’ oldest professional chamber orchestra present an evening of music from some forgotten female composers.
The music of Clara Schumann, Fanny Mendelsshohn and more, a concert by the Welsh Chamber Concert. Friday 27th November, 6pm, at Leominster Priory. £15

The Welsh Chamber Orchestra present their first ever concert tour in England, with a programme of exclusively female composers. This concert includes a first performance of a new commission ’Songs of Immortality’ by award-winning composer Susie Self for baritone and strings, featuring soloist Jeremy Huw Williams.

Venue: Leominster Priory at 6pm on Friday 27th November.

£15 per person (£5 for children and young adults 10-21).

This concert is part of the Stitched Stories town trail and events organised by Priory Arts running from 1st Sept to 30th November. Stitched Stories is part of Bayeux Around Britain: a British Museum partnership, supported by WorldQuant.
