The Church of St James Cradley dates back to Anglo-Saxon times. It has important connections with the Three Choirs Festival and was visited by both Sir Edward Elgar and Sir Arthur Bliss.

The church is open to visitors daily.  During the Herefordshire Histories Festival and again on selected dates in August visitors can enjoy a guided tour of the Church and Churchyard,

Cradley Village Hall is a beautiful timber-framed Grade II* listed building, standing in the corner of the churchyard and dating back to c1530. It is probably the oldest village hall in Herefordshire.   During the Herefordshire Histories Festival and again on selected dates in August the Hall will be open for visitors to browse the exhibition of Cradley through the Ages, learn more about the history of the Hall and find out more about its heritage archives, a substantial collection of parish photographs, written sources and artefacts, available for those researching local history or genealogy.
