Tony relates how he approached this period of enormous agricultural change and how he endevoured to balance this with a personal commitment to stewardship of the countryside in the Arrow Valley.
The Leen is mentioned early in the historic record, and Tony and his wife’s family have farmed at The Leen for many generations.
Tony will recall his experience, the challenges, the opportunities, the achievements and the costs in the business of producing good nutrious food on the one hand, and conserving nature on the other.
