Various dates at Herefordshire Libraries
It’s 80 years since VE and VJ Days marked the end of the deadliest conflict in history, World War 2. Over the next four months Herefordshire Libraries and Herefordshire Lore will work together to remember the war in 80 stories and items, and collect and preserve photographs and memories for future generations. Anyone with local photos or memories of the Second World War from anywhere in the county is invited to come along and share them with Herefordshire Lore on the following days:
Thursday 8th May – Hereford Library – launch
Thursday 15th May – Ross-on-Wye Library
Thursday 22nd May – Ledbury Library
Thursday 29th May – Leominster Library
Thursday 5th June – Hereford Library
