Presenting the history of our village church, adjacent castle and community through interpretation funded by the National Lottery.
Wigmore church was built by the Normans, enhanced by the mighty Mortimers in the 13th and 14th centuries, the Harleys in the 18th century and renovated by the Victorians. Now it’s home to our interpretation display which presents the colourful history of Wigmore church, castle and community for all to enjoy.
